Privacy Policy

Autofill Vault is a Chrome extension that stores login entries locally in your browser and can autofill login forms.

What data is stored

Locally (in your browser): any login entries you create in the extension (label, username, password, notes, and optional site/domain). This data is stored using chrome.storage.local.
Not stored on our server: your saved usernames/passwords are not uploaded to our server.

License verification

To unlock premium features, the extension verifies your license with our license server. During verification, the extension sends only:

License key
Install ID (a random identifier created by the extension)

We use this information only to validate licenses and enforce activation limits.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect browsing history.
We do not collect keystrokes.
We do not collect or store your saved passwords on our server.
We do not sell or share your personal data.

Third-party services

The extension may open an external link (for example, WhatsApp chat) if you choose to purchase a license. WhatsApp is a third-party service and is governed by its own privacy policy.

Data deletion

You can remove your locally stored data by using the extension’s “Clear All” feature or by uninstalling the extension. Uninstalling removes the local data stored by the extension.
