Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Autofill Vault Chrome extension ("Extension"). By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Autofill Vault is a browser extension that lets you securely store login entries locally in your browser and autofill login forms on supported websites. It also includes a specialised workflow for the Pakistani FBR IRIS portal (iris.fbr.gov.pk) where CNIC, mobile number, and email-based autofill are optimised for that site.

Important: Your login entries — usernames, passwords, notes, mobile numbers, CNICs, and any IRIS-specific fields — are stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local and are never transmitted to our servers.

2. License and Activation

The Extension offers a free tier and two paid plans — PRO (time-limited) and MAX (lifetime).

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

4. Data and Privacy

Your login entries remain on your device. The only data that ever leaves your browser is the license-verification request, which contains just your license key and a randomly generated install identifier — nothing else.

For more details, see our Privacy Policy →

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of Liability

The publisher shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or data loss resulting from use of the Extension.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke licenses in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of the Extension constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

Autofill Vault is a Chrome extension that stores login entries locally in your browser and can autofill login forms.

What data is stored

Locally (in your browser): any login entries you create in the extension, including the record's label, username, password, notes / mobile, site domain, and — when you are on the FBR IRIS portal — the optional email and email password fields. Entries are saved using chrome.storage.local, which scopes them to your browser profile on this device.
Alongside your entries, the extension also stores a locally generated install ID (a random UUID), your activated license key (if any), and small UI preferences such as the "Show All Websites" toggle state.
Not stored on our server: your saved usernames, passwords, notes, emails, and any other entry content are never uploaded. They never leave your device through this extension.

License verification

To unlock PRO or MAX features, the extension verifies your license with our license server. During verification, the extension sends only:

We use this information only to validate the license tied to your install. The server returns the license status (valid / expired / disabled), the plan (PRO or MAX), and the expiry date (if any).

What we do NOT collect

Third-party services

The extension may open an external link (for example, a WhatsApp chat) if you choose to purchase a license. WhatsApp is a third-party service and is governed by its own privacy policy.

Data deletion

You have several ways to remove your data:

If you need help moving your license to a new computer, contact us via WhatsApp with your license key and we will help.
